Oregon supervision report
Oregon counts month by month. The supervision report reads one row per calendar month, and a month that misses its supervision minimum loses its direct client hours.

What this form is.
- A month-by-month report of your supervised experience.
- Oregon is the state where the pacing rule really bites: if a calendar month misses the supervision minimum, the client hours logged in that month do not count.
- Oregon rounds time down to the tenth of an hour.
Who signs it
Your supervisor, by hand. The board's hours report asks for original signatures, so HourSign prints a clean page to sign rather than claiming an electronic signature.
Common mistakes.
Most are easy to catch while the work is fresh.
- Finding a short month a year later, when nothing can be done about it.
- Rounding up. Oregon rounds down to the tenth of an hour.
- Assuming private-practice hours count for clinical social work. Oregon requires agency work on that pathway.
- Expecting HourSign, or anyone else, to answer questions on the board's form for you. An Oregon rule that took effect on 9 June 2026 limits who may do that for counseling and MFT applicants.
How HourSign fills it in.
- HourSign builds one row per calendar month, with direct hours, individual supervision and group supervision.
- Recorded hours and valid hours are both printed, so a short month is visible rather than hidden inside a total.
- Short months are flagged while you can still fix them, with the rule and its citation next to the number.
HourSign's page is not the board's form. It carries the board's layout so the numbers can be copied across, or so the page can be stapled behind the board's own copy. Every page says so.
